Manjoh Foods contributes to Record breaking food Christmas tree

Manjoh Foods started in the year 2000 as a value add for our larger Agricultural operation (Manjoh Ranch Pty (ltd) and M&J da Costa Bros Pty (ltd) where maize meal was milled on a small scale. ±200 tons of samp was milled for a company called Jabula Foods (used to manufacture corn starch) and ±40 tons of maize meal, and this would also supply hominy chop to our cattle feedlotting business
In September 2002 we installed a Z1984 roll stand, a pneumatic system (for conveying our final product) and two Maize Silos with handling equipment with 7000 tons holding capacity, increasing the mills production to ±1.5 tons/hour of final product.

In 2003 we invested in a “Plastic Form and Seal” packaging machine for the packaging of diverse products such as our Sugarbeans, Green Split Peas, Kidney Beans, Popcorn, Samp and Maize Rice and also a small range of Fowl feed which included Mixed Fowl Feed, Whole Yellow Maize, Growing Mash, Laying Mash and Crushed Yellow Maize.

And with the resent increasing demand for our Maize Milled products with such clients as Masscash, and U-Save Shoprite and a range of house brands of which three are imported to Australia. We were forced to increase our mills capacity and so in 2013 we started planning our plants upgrade. And at the end of 2014 we started up our brand new Satake 5 ton per hour Mill and we are currently busy in the consultation processes to design new storage and despatch systems and facilities
